The Jerry Herman Ring Theatre strives to make accommodations for people with any health conditions or impairments. The theatre aims to make its events and performances accessible to all visitors.

Services for Visitors with Accessibility Needs 

If you have accessibility needs, please contact the box office ahead of time and so that we may assist you with ticketing accommodations, accessible parking locations and other information. We ask that any seating accommodation request be made 72 hours in advance.

Assistive Listening Devices | Listen Technologies  

The Jerry Herman Ring Theatre uses Listen Technologies Assistive Listening devices to amplify and clarify sound for guests who are hard of hearing. They are available at no cost for all performances at our box office window.  

Service Animals

In accordance with the ADA and all subsequent amendments, the Ring Theatre welcomes service animals specifically training to provide a service to our patrons.   For the safety of our guests, other animals are not permitted and any animals that pose a disturbance or risk to others may be asked to leave.   

Restrooms

ADA accessible restrooms are located in the courtyard area. 

Parking

Visitor drop-off/pick-up is located at the front of the Ring Theatre on Miller Drive. Accessible parking is available at several locations near the theatre including in the purple parking lot. The University’s parking enforcement hours will be 7-days a week, 8:00 AM to 11:00 PM.

Daytime Visitors – Purple Lot is NOT available for visitors during these times (M-F 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM):

  • Visitors may park at designated metered spaces using PayByPhone or a Pay Station. Using these options automatically registers the vehicle's license plate with the university's parking system.
  • Metered spaces are located at the Pavia and Merrick Garage "visitors" section only, Memorial Drive (by Richter Library), and the Yellow, Gray, and Burgundy color zones found on the visitor’s parking map.

Nights and Weekends Visitors (M-F 4:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. and Weekends 8:00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m.):

  • All parking lots and garages (except service and restricted spaces) are available for parking. See the visitor’s parking map.
  • Visitors may pay to park using PayByPhone or a Pay Station. Using these options automatically registers the vehicle's license plate with the university's parking system.
  • A parking session is valid in any color zone and the vehicle can be moved between parking lots and garages without having to initiate a new parking session.
